Which spots are the best for micro weddings in NYC?

There’s so many different location for a ceremonies, and I can absolutely make recommendations based on what you’re looking for. Want something with nature or city views? Do you want something more on the private side? Do you want it to be recognizably New York? How many people are you bringing? These are the some of the things I’d first consider.

How many people can we bring?

Micro weddings are generally best with 40 or fewer guests.

Do we need a permit?

This completely depends on your ceremony site. For example, most public parks, like Central Park, require a park permit for groups 20+. Private venues may require a certificate of insurance from your photographer (which we carry can can provide!).

Can we bring chairs? Champagne? A guitarist? Our dogs?

Again, it depends on your venue. Definitely check to make sure there aren’t restrictions.

Do you work with ordained officiants?

Yes, all the officiants included in my packages are ordained and registered in New York City. You will have an opportunity to chat with them so they can craft a completely personalized ceremony, and will file all necessary paperwork so your marriage is legal.

Do we need to bring our marriage license?

Yes, bring your marriage license with you; the officiant will complete the necessary paperwork after the ceremony.

You can obtain a marriage license via Project Cupid, their online license appointment system, or schedule an appointment with the Marriage Bureau.

Can you recommend any hair and makeup artists? Florists? Acoustic musicians? Restaurant recommendations

Yes to all of the above, and more. I’m more than happy to share my network of trusted vendors so your day goes off without a hitch.

Will you photograph our same-sex wedding?

100% yes. I am more than happy to photograph any kind of couple getting married.
